1695 Sleeping With Pets

Just a quick question for any visitors who have pets. Do your pets sleep in/on your bed with you? I'm guessing it's a 90% yes.

Ex#2 was from farm stock, and not only were animals not allowed in the bedroom, they had to go outside at night. I always felt so guilty about that.

Gypsy, you're exempt from this question. If your snake sleeps with you, I don't want to know! How big is Bindi now, anyway? Last time I saw her she was about two fingers wide.

(I just drank a glass of Grand Marnier. Is it showing?)

Here's how it goes: Me in the middle. Dylan on my left, snugged into my armpit. Katy at the right in her own little spot at the top of the bed. Sophie on the bottom right corner. Boris on the left, just behind Dylan, followed by Gus. Mo in the center, with at least two of the girls cozying up to they daddy.

God help me if I need to get up in the middle of the night.

I've got Miss Thunderfoot on the other side of the bed, about even with my chest. She will allow Jasper on the bed as long as he stays on the far side of me, but he seems to be uncomfortable and doesn't usually pay more than a short visit. Thunder gets up earlier than I do and leaves the bed, so lately I've been waking up to Jasper sitting on my rear end (I sleep on my stomach).

i do not let my animals sleep with me. its not so much that i mind, its that i sleep with the door closed and when they want to get out in the middle of the night they cant.... so they cry until i let them. they arent even allowed in the room when im asleep- the dog is never allowed in my room because he is a destructive little beast. and the cat tries to sleep on my face at night which is not conducive to breathing.

Our dogs used to sleep with us, but now we are down to a bearded dragon and a chinchilla, neither of which make good sleeping companions;)

Wow, that's funny, it never occurred to me that I had a pet that could sleep in bed with me. We have 2 geckos too. But all the reptiles stay in their respective boxes.

Bindi is getting long. Probably more than 4' long now, but since he's coiled up pretty much all the time, and resists being stretched out, it's hard to say. I'd say he's a good 2" in diameter now, as well. Maybe 3" in his fattest part, after he's eaten.
