I shaved my legs four days ago, and I've already got 1/4 inch of hair there!

Ah yes, the time is just around the corner to make sure pits and legs and bikini area are shaved. I noticed that I can shave one day and already have grow back the next day. I take it yours only does that at a certain time of year?
Yeah. My leg and underarm fur grows very slowly in the winter, and quickly in the summer. Head hair is just the opposite. Weird.
Very interesting! I wonder what causes that? Mine grows back super fast all of the time, in every place, but my legs are patchy and the hair lighter and thinner since my second child. In any case, I like being able to go awhile in the winter without shaving. Hooray for hiding in sweats!
Ahah! After thinking about it a bit, I think I know why my leg and underarm fur grow slowly in the winter: I get cold. I hate cold. When I feel cold, my body slows blood supply to the exterior to lessen loss of heat, so there's less blood in the skin, less blood to the hair roots, therefore less growth.
I betcha that's it.
Sounds like a good hypothesis to me.....and I don't even know if that's how you spell that word.
