This article made me laugh - http://healthland.time.com/2010/10/06/how-to-lose-facebook-friends-the-fastest/. It says a study from the University of Colorado, Denver, has found that people "unfriend" others on Facebook for:
Harping/ranting about the same things over and over
Talking about politics
Talking about religion
Vulgarity
Racism
What cracked me up was their observation that these are the same things that will get you a radio show.
