It's raining. It's 10:45 pm.
I was just out on the front porch, and I noticed that some of those raindrops looked rather large.
And white.
And shiny.
The grass and driveway showed just wetness, so I stuck the black velvet sleeve of my jacket out into the "rain" and caught a few of the "raindrops",
and several of them were flat,
and six-pointed.
I feel sick. I'm not ready for this.

Same here. Yet I can't deny it. It's coming and I can't afford to pay for six months elsewhere. So the kitties and I will snug in for the winter, just as we did for the summer. BTW, how is Jasper?
Wow! I didn't see this comment until just today, 12/01. For some reason, Yahoo won't let comment notices from Blogger through. Jasper is fine. He'll be 8 next spring, and he's getting fat, and he's just as timid and skittish as ever, but he's looking good.
